Description

History of the property: About 250 years ago the origin of the present country estate, next the neighbouring farmers in the Benimaquia built a small chapel (Ermita) and a small house belonging to it with a well and a bread oven, there they baked together their bread and baked goods weekly. Around 1920, a wealthy merchant and factory owner family bought the entire property and converted it into their hunting lodge in a castle-like style. After that, two other families owned it and constantly maintained and extended it. In 1999 the current oner bought the property, and in 2000 was completely renovated, installd gas central heating to the four existing fireplaces that previously heated the whole house, and in the same year a new fish pond and garage were built. Until today, the finca as well as the entire property has been constantly renovated and kept up to date, most recently in 2020 the entire alarm system was renewed with direct connection to the security service and the police, furthermore a new camera system was installd to control everything remotely (e.g., entrance gate).
